The short version. The DiskMac app has no analytics, no accounts and no tracking. It never sends your file names, paths, folder sizes or contents anywhere — there is no server to send them to.

The app makes exactly one kind of network request in its entire lifetime: checking your licence key with our payment processor. Everything else happens on your Mac.

Who we are

Himanshu Singh, an individual trading as DiskMac, of House No. 74, Sajanpur Pilli, Haridwar, Uttarakhand 249408, India (“we”, “us”), publishes the DiskMac application and this website. You can reach us at support@diskmac.com about anything in this policy.

What the app does with your data

DiskMac reads directory information on your Mac in order to show you what is using space: file and folder names, sizes, and modification dates. This reading happens entirely on your device.

None of it leaves your Mac. It is not uploaded, not backed up to us, not shared, and not used to build any profile. The app keeps its own results — scan history and cleanup records — in a folder inside your own Library, which you can delete at any time.

The one network request

If you buy DiskMac Pro, the app contacts our payment processor, Dodo Payments, to activate and periodically re-check your licence key. That request contains:

It contains no file names, no paths, no sizes, and nothing about the contents of your disk. If you never buy Pro, the app makes no network requests at all.

Payment information

We do not see, handle or store your card details. Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record and collect what they need to take payment and meet their tax obligations. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.

What reaches us from a purchase is limited to your email address and the fact that a licence was issued, so that we can provide support and honour refunds.

This website

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and abuse prevention, as any web host does. We do not use those logs to identify or track individuals.

The site loads a web font from Google Fonts. That request reaches Google’s servers and is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Your rights

Because we hold so little, most requests are simple. You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@diskmac.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Deleting your licence record means your Pro activation stops working, so we will confirm before doing it.

Children

DiskMac is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and note what changed. We will not quietly start collecting something this policy says we do not.
